I met Malcolm and his beloved Pearl in our local park in Glendowie. What a man! He was always open and generous, and loved a chat and a pat with the dogs - plus treats for Pearlie 😉. I heard so many stories from Malcolm of ukulele jamming sessions by the fire with a whiskey - and the recordings to prove it. He was a talented player and restorer, always with a cunning plan to acquire more vintage ukuleles to take apart and fix up.
Malcolm, you were truly loved. I'll miss our chats and the emails you sent me with your recordings and vintage pics. I'll miss seeing Peal sitting on your balcony table, keeping an eye on the neighbourhood. Rest In Peace, mate.
